Good old days.

Gone were the "good old days" when I needs to sit in my walker or should it be "bad old days"? since my parents would need to confine me to the walker which restricts my movement?

That was like almost 1 year ago. Guessed what, when I see this walker (my cousin's walker), when I was at my grandparents house, I climbed in to sit in it. :p I was enjoying myself playing with the sterling wheels, horn etc. My mama was so worried that I will spoilt the seat. hahaha

(Background: That's my grandfather talking to my mama, my grandmother was sitting behind me, can see her hor? :p The one in checked bermudas was my 2nd yiyi, too bad only filmed her legs, cannot see her face. haha Maybe next time hor )

Am I strong?

This evening, my cousins and their parents came to my house. By viewing the video, do you think I was strong? I was able to push my cousin quite a distance while he sits on my toy car. Actually, I was also able to push my mama along (you never read wrongly, it's my mama! Big kid..), when she was sitting on the car too. But no video was recorded of course :p, don't think you will get a chance to see because my mama will never want to sit on the toy car again, afraid that her weight may be too heavy for the poor toy car. :p

I think I really like dancing or does all kids goes through this stage? I wonder. I am getting more sensitive to the camera nowadays. Thus, mama cannot take too long to video record of my moment and she got to do it secretly behind my back... see the way I behaved once I noticed her moment... :p Guessed that maybe I was shy?

Update after I reached 20mths

Hi All,

I had turned 20 month.... time really flies.

I had just recovered from stomach flu. It was a bad experience for me, papa, mama and grandma.

1st sigh of stomach flu (on 13 Aug 07):-

I vomited out some gastric juice early morning around 4am+.. then followed by diarroea and mild fever.

They brought me to visit a GP and I was diagnosed with stomach flu. Eeeks.. I vomited at least 6 times and diarrhoea per day is about 4 times than the usual. I have no appetite to eat porridge or drink milk either although the GP said that mama can feed me with porridge. I only likes to drink water occasionally.

My parents feed me with medicine till I scared, so I don't even want to drink the ribena or glucolin that they made for me (Dr advised that I need to intake more fluid so that I won't be dehydrated). I also don't like the taste of the "freezer pop" that they bought from the clinic (there goes my papa's $$ :p).. because all the "colourful drink" reminds me of medicine.. which I take until scare. :(

Through out the 1 whole week when I gotten stomach flu, I stopped my intake of porridge, only drink minimal of milk, water and my mama feed me with porridge water for my lunch and dinner.

So, fever and vomitting stopped after day 2. But loose poo still appears from day 2 till day 7 or 8. (The poo consist of more water than solid poo, maybe because no solid intake and only fluid intake) There after, my poo still overflows but with more semi solid. (sorry ah, if you feel a bit disgusted that my mama keep on describing my poo.. is for her to take note only. hee)

My parents changed my bedsheets, diapers, wipe my buttock until they got phobia. They will be awaken by my "poo sound", then quickly they will jumped out from their bed and changed me. As for me, me too got phobia because after I vomitted, I will cry abit, then my papa and mama will console me.. asked me not to cry.. its ok to vomit as I was sick. When I poo, I will look at both my legs to see whether the poo leaks out a not, once leaks out.. I will freezed and will also cry abit, cos maybe I scared my parents will scold me... but I always got heard my papa and mama consoled me.. "its ok to poo, got poo better than no poo" :p.

Finally, my appetite and drinking pattern back to normal after about 2 weeks. Made my parents so happy. :)

Haha, this is me busy chatting on the "phone"! Look what was I holding? It's my papa's laptop mouse :p. I used it as a mobile phone to communicate with my "client". Oh... not to forgot playing with my toy cars also. haha..

Where are the Fishes?

My papa and mama bought me to a Pet shop located somewhere near Parkway shopping center to watch fishes. This shop has been there for quite sometime.. maybe 3 years or more?

I was so excited, you can hear that I "wah" so many times... like a "swah gu" hor? :p

"Shopping" for toys

Below video was me, "shopping" in one of the toy shops in IMM. I was so engrossed, almost scrutinizing each and every boxes of toy cars/trucks. My papa almost wanted to buy me the box of trucks liao leh, but my mama just carried me away from the shop. Luckily (for my papa and mama), I did cry/or throw tantrum, so hopefully, next time I will behave the same way too. :)

Shaver or Lipstick??

My mama caught me in action again. I was holding her lipstick and imitating my papa shaving his beard! Haha...

My new hair cut.

This time round my papa and mama, they DOWNGRADE my hair trimming session!

They brought me to the barber shop, a shop where my papa had his hair cut. It was my first experience in a barber shop.. guess what.. I started crying the moment the one and only aunty "aim" the hair shaver equipment on my hair! Even though my mama brought along my favorite toy car, but I still cry.. duno why leh.. maybe it was the first time. The previous few time they bought me to "high class salon" to trim my hair, got dvd player in front to distract me, so those few experiences I do not cry.

Pray hard that I behave better the next time I visit the barber shop again. :)

Busy yakking on the phone..

Papa and mama did not know that I can became so excited even though just merely playing with the TV remote control, the "spring part" where batteries were inserted. Can you feel my joy? :)

Halo all.. long time no blog.. why? Because my mama is waiting for my papa to upload photos so that she can blog when she got the time.. so bo bian.. got to wait.

But I got something to tell.. yesterday when my papa and mama was having their dinner.. I joined them.. then my papa keep asking me to call him.. but I simply refused. Guess what then he trying to "test water".. he also asked me to call my mama. I really turn my head to face her and I called her "mama" loud and clear. These really makes my mama's day, she was so happy that I called her instead of papa. haha

Papa, so next time do not ask me to call you, I will call you when I have the urge. :p

18 months old!










I have taken my 18th mth booster jab. My next appointment will be 1/2 year later, instead of 3 years old. Why? Because the doctor told my papa and mama that my motor skills is much better than my language skills, so doctor asking me to go back to check on my language skills.

The doctor asked them why hasn't me started speaking some words.. like car, bus, things like that... even a "cuits" for biscuits is fine according to her, but I did not even say that "cuits" out when I requested biscuits from them. I think I was lazy to learn according to my papa. In fact, I do understand what my parents instructions, but I also not sure why I still do not start talking yet, but only baby talk. :p He was puzzled, because in fact I started calling him long time ago, but few weeks back, I stopped calling him again. Hiaz.. (Papa, I also seldom called mama also leh :p) I also do not know what was the reason. Anyway, the Doctor advised my parents must be perserve in teaching/encouraging me to start speaking instead of them still guessing what I want at my age. So I will see the Doctor again... in 1/2 mths time.

Oh.. my mama has overlooked to update my 17th mth growth progress... nevertheless, here is my 18th mths growth progress. Nothing much also.


Things that I able/like to do:-
I was able to hold my own milk bottle when drinking my milk
I will give myself a pat at the back of my neck when I feel that I am choking while drinking water.. :p
Whenever I able to grab hold of tissue paper, I will use it to wipe my own mouth. Sometime, my grandma also bway tahan me.. she wonder why when I drool, I do not clean my mouth, but when I do not drool, I will use tissue to clean my mouth. haha
I wanted to try self feed, but I guess my parents feel that I am still not ready, thus hesitate to let me try. :p
I was getting used to the water sprinkle that my mama used to bath me, but I was still not able to accept the spinkle spraying directly on my face and head, so currently my mama is still washing my hair like I was new born. :p

Height: 81 cm (never grow tall leh.. jialat jialat)

This was the 2nd time I attended trial. My papa took a lot of videos..(hope you all don't mind) .. if don't like then just view the slides that will be posted later. Looking from all the videos, somehow my parents think that I enjoyed myself more in outdoor activities and music session than story telling and "painting" session. haha

This video, can see that I was not paying attention to the teacher who was teaching us how to use our index finger to "paint" a caterpilla. I was more interested in playing with the toy car and the marker cap. :p My papa "Shake head".

This video never failed to make my papa laughed, especially at the end of the video I was "penguin walking" according to him. So funny huh? :p

Mama was suprised to see me picked up and returned a toy to Fybie who dropped it while holding onto it. (Mama, I told you I am a helpful boy right? :p) When I saw Fybie trying to pull out a yellow big plastic ball, I helped her to pull it out leh.. hehehe

In this video, somehow I refused to collect the 2 wooden sticks from the teacher when she wanted to lend it to us to play along with the music. Somehow later, I took it from my mama and was happily playing with it until I did not even want to return them to the teacher when she said told us so. I was very mischievous right? :p
